Thanks to the work of our High School Principal, Mike Rubin, we have a new tool at our fingertips, and it is a game-changer for our students and families who do not yet speak English.  In the ever-evolving world of technology, this tech advancement, ILA Translates, is changed how we approach communication with our students and families.  This tool has streamlined the translation process and provided numerous opportunities for students and staff to break down language barriers, improve communication, and facilitate more inclusive learning environments.

This machine has cutting-edge language translation software that harnesses the power of artificial intelligence and provides instantaneous and accurate translations in any language. Think about this – when a student has a matter that is best addressed by a counselor, the school nurse, or the Principal, the communication barrier that made these interactions difficult is gone.  This technology and software will help us keep our students safe and enhance our ability to communicate with our parents and guardians who do not yet speak English.   

Mr. Rubin secured this technology for all of our schools and even our central office.  Among the many grants that Mr. Rubin has obtained is Capital Skills funding – and as you can see, it has paid off big for all of our schools.
